"We didn't want to sell safaris. We wanted to welcome guests from across the globe and show them the Kenya I know and cherish."

Our Story

We Didn't Just Build
a Company.

We Built a Mission.

SUCCESSFUL LUXURY SAFARIS is built on resilience, purpose, and a deep reverence for the beauty and spirit of Kenya.

As the firstborn of five children, raised by a devoted mother who built her livelihood as a market vendor, our founder Beryl learned early that success is forged through integrity, determination, and the courage to create your own path. Her mother's example taught her that great things grow from humble beginnings, and that boldness and care are the foundations of any lasting endeavor.

Her formative years at a community-focused school — serving children from single-parent households, orphans, and families of limited means — brought her into contact with kind visitors who saw Kenya's land and people with genuine respect. One encounter in particular inspired a clear and enduring vision: to welcome guests from across the globe and show them the Kenya she knows and cherishes. Even as a young student, she knew her calling was to guide others through this remarkable country, bridging cultures and sharing our heritage with grace.

At a time when few recognized the vast potential of Kenya's tourism sector, Beryl pursued formal studies in the field, combining academic expertise with hands-on insight to master every dimension of world-class hospitality and destination management.

Today, SUCCESSFUL LUXURY SAFARIS stands as the realization of that vision. We craft bespoke luxury safaris that seamlessly combine impeccable standards, refined comfort, and deeply authentic experiences. Every journey we design is rooted in our values: respect for our land, honor for our communities, and a sincere commitment to making every guest feel both welcome and extraordinary.

What We Believe

Our Core Values

The principles that guide every decision we make — from the packages we design to the partners we choose

🦁
Wildlife First
Every itinerary is designed around animal welfare and natural behaviour. We never rush encounters, chase animals, or prioritise spectacle over respect.
🤝
Community Partnership
We employ local guides, stay in community-owned lodges, and reinvest directly into the villages and conservancies that protect the land we visit.
🔍
Radical Honesty
We tell you exactly what to expect — the dust, the distances, the early mornings. No overpromising. If a package isn't right for you, we'll say so.
🌍
Low Impact Travel
Carbon-offset flights, solar-powered camps, reusable water systems, and no single-use plastics across all our operations since 2018.
Obsessive Quality
We operate at a scale that lets us personally vet every vehicle, lodge, and guide we recommend. If we wouldn't send our own family there, we won't send you.
📚
Deep Knowledge
Our guides hold degrees in ecology, conservation, and zoology. Minimum five years field experience before leading a guest. We don't cut corners on expertise.
